Project Description
An article describing the structure noted that: "Astle/Ericson & Associates were commissioned to design the Guest House, just adjacent to their award winning design of the St. Benedictine monastery. This building features a full dining room and kitchen facilities, an isolated library, a meditation area, forty guest rooms, a large chapel and a smaller chapel, the Adoration Chapel. This project included the construction of a large man-made lake, which serves as the fire protection water."1
