UCFA in Partnership with the University of Utah’s Dark Sky Studies Program (Part of the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning, School of Architecture) presents a week of celebrating the night sky! Take this week to remember with us the beauty and glory of the night sky – from the starry nights to shooting stars through featured artwork, poetry and more. Being in Utah, we have access to some of the most spectacular views to the night sky. Did you know that Utah has one of highest number of dark sky places in the United States? We’ll share with you a list of these dark sky places so you can start planning for your next starry adventure. Also, learn more about what you can do to preserve the disappearing dark, and in turn, protect our birds, sleep better and save the previous views to the Milky way! Stay tuned…
